Microsoft 365 Copilot Integration and Adoption in Malaysia
Give your teams a clear way to use AI in the work they already do.
NovaGenAI helps organisations plan Microsoft 365 Copilot integration, governance and adoption as part of our enterprise AI enablement offering. We start with the workflows to improve, the information users can access and measures that show whether the rollout works.
Discuss your Copilot rolloutWhat does a Copilot implementation involve?
A rollout combines vendor licensing, tenant readiness, information governance and user adoption. Buying access is one step; useful deployment also needs practical use cases, clear data rules, trained users and a way to evaluate output quality.
Microsoft supplies Copilot and determines its features, licensing and service terms. NovaGenAI provides the agreed implementation and enablement services around your environment. Subscriptions and our scope should be separate in the proposal.
Start with work your teams can evaluate
Select tasks with a recognisable starting point, reviewable output and owner. Depending on licensed products and enabled features, candidate workflows include first drafts from approved material, source-checked project summaries, meeting preparation and finding accessible company knowledge.
Availability varies by product, licence and configuration. Discovery confirms the user experience before a workflow enters the rollout.
Resolve access before scaling discovery
Microsoft documents that Copilot surfaces organisational information according to underlying user permissions. Existing oversharing can therefore make content easier to discover.
A readiness review identifies source owners, overshared content, stale material and unclear classification. IT and security teams agree required changes before pilot expansion. Assess available controls against subscriptions and configuration. See Microsoft’s privacy and security documentation.
What we scope and deliver
An engagement can include a readiness review, prioritised use cases and baseline measures, governance guidance, expressly scoped configuration, role-based workshops, prompting and output-review guidance, pilot evaluation and rollout recommendations.
External systems, custom agents and cross-platform integrations need separate technical and permissions assessment. They are not included automatically with a Copilot licence or adoption service.
Copilot alongside ChatGPT Enterprise
Some organisations use Microsoft 365 Copilot for selected Microsoft-centred workflows and ChatGPT Enterprise for other approved tasks. Our existing enablement offering can plan them under coordinated governance.
A shared policy can define users, acceptable information and review. Technical enforcement, audit, identity and integrations still need separate checks for each product. A common policy does not create one technical control system. See ChatGPT Enterprise enablement.
A rollout your team can support
- Select a pilot group with recurring tasks and managers who can evaluate outcomes.
- Check licences, tenant requirements, access and information readiness.
- Define acceptable use, sensitive information handling and human review.
- Implement agreed changes and train with realistic approved examples.
- Compare quality, time, review effort and user feedback with the baseline before expanding.
Measure completed useful work, not only logins or prompt counts.
Where human review remains essential
AI drafts and summaries can omit or misstate information. Employees check source material, calculations, citations and any decision or message they approve. High-impact workflows need explicit review.
Unattended use is a poor fit when outputs cannot be verified or permissions and information ownership are unresolved. Fix those dependencies or choose a lower-risk task.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to buy Microsoft licences separately?
Users need licences for the intended experience. Microsoft controls eligibility, pricing and terms. Separate subscriptions from NovaGenAI implementation, training and agreed services.
Can you confirm whether our tenant is ready?
An assessment can review use cases and environment with authorised administrators. Check current licensing, application and network requirements against Microsoft documentation.
Can Copilot access every company document?
Microsoft states organisational access follows signed-in user permissions. Permission hygiene is therefore a priority; product configuration and feature also affect access.
Can Copilot connect to a non-Microsoft system?
Assess the exact system, connector or extension and permissions. Licensing, configuration and support vary. Confirm the integration path and data handling before scope commitment.
Will training guarantee adoption or productivity gains?
No. Outcomes depend on task fit, information quality, manager support and use. Define measures for the engagement and start with an evaluable pilot.
